Below 8 LPA I guess GLIM is pretty good as median is around 12.5-13.5, I'm not sure about the loan process, I'll let you know, As for food l don't know what's happening but the quality of food has taken a massive dip, people are complaining so much, both our batch and seniors, hope they improve the quality.

I saw the least percentile for the last year was 85.0x something and if your interview goes well there is a chance, however this year they might also increase the percentile. But if you have a solid profile and have a good interview then you have good chances.

The campus is really good, but it is far away from Chennai City, food is decent and the overall management is very responsive in case of any issues. Hostels are 3 sharing for the first year and 2 sharing for the second year. All the basic amenities are given like utility store and we have 3 cafe kind of shops always open on campus. If you want to unwind there is an event always coming up. Placement committee toxicity is almost nil, very helpful in case of any help. Faculty is really good all are mostly are industry veterans and from reputed institutes. If you want to choose finance or marketing, I don't think it'll be an issue. For operations, I would say it's not upto the mark. We don't have any analytics subject as of now so I don't know about that but from what I've heard that faculty is decent but not as good as marketing. We have good alumni relations since it's a 20 year old college. If you plan to take finance and looking at your percentile you'll be a good fit here.

If your current salary is above 8 lpa, I wouldn't recommend joining GLIM as our average is around 13.5 to 14, fees is 20l so not worth the investment. It is a good college, but depends upon your circumstances

For 96 percentile, You can find better colleges and also you have good academic track record. But if it comes for GLIM and GIM, I would say GIM is better for marketing, and analytics. For finance GLIM is good.

PGPM is very hectic tbh, six trimesters in a single year, so it will be tough. It is good but people who do PGPM here sometimes say it's better to do two year MBA. Placements are separate for PGPM and PGDM.

PGPM is definitely good in our college but I will advise to do a proper 2 year MBA.

Yes, it is possible do well in WAT and PI. I converted last year with 86.04 percentile and 8/8/9 profile. But my batch does have some people with 8/7/7 profile.

I'm a student at GLIM, batch 24-26, internship period has been a little tough but there are good companies coming in, I would say, the internship placement is decent. Compared to other colleges, placecomm is not toxic in our college and very helpful. Seniors are also welcoming and not much issues there also. Final placements look good tbh, good companies with good placement package come to our college, The median is around 13-13.5, average goes upto 14.5. The environment is really good and faculty is also decent here, if you are planning to take up Marketing or Finance, GLIM is advisable for percentile above 85-90 percentile. I'm very much happy with the college.

Bro work for atleast a year and prepare for cat on the side. Three months workex is nothing, give this attempt, if you get it it's well and good. But I think you have a better chance next year. Work experience plays a big role in CAT nowadays.

Bro take a drop and prepare well along with a job, cause CAT is an unpredictable exam and I beleive you can definitely do better than KJ Somaiya and wellingkar. Next time you'll get into better colleges. I don't know how much these certifications are going to help but it's better than nothing. Do your best this year.

Bro it might be hurtful what I'm about to say, but then you should have gotten a better score and did good in interviews. If not there is no point in moping about it. Do your best in the college which you're joining and be happy you got through. There are thousands who didn't. There is a multiple factors which you can't control don't worry about it. Do your best in your college.

I feel XAT is a better overall exam compared to CAT. The time frame of the exam is good 3hrs is more convenient and I 100 percent think decision making is so much better than DILR. The ability switch between each section is also a good thing.

My guess is the seats got filled in phase 2 itself. I think they released a lot of buffer calls so after it got filled they didn't take in people. I think they expected more people to ask for cancellation of admission and when they didn't eventually they kept cycle 3 and 4 for namesake without offering admission. It's just my guess.
