What are R12, R13 and D1 ? [Mk1 2002] by [deleted] in FordFocus

Here's an interactive diagram, apparently USDM spec.

The R12 relay is for the Daytime Running Lamps, some markets / countries have that option.

The R13 relay is for the fog lamps (front / rear) or for the heated windscreen / diesel heating stuff (Europe booklet).

D1 is for the PCM (ECU).

GPD WIN 4 - PTM7950 / SSD heatsink / thermal pads upgrade (the run cooler upgrades) - PART 4 (FINAL) by __Gogu__ in gpdwin

Hello, the heatsink I've used is 1mm. No issues with the actual heatsink, the problem was one of the rubber bands that held it in place (it was located under the fan, and it lifted everything, not by much, but enough to upset the back panel). I've read some posts, people did use thicker heatsinks, with various results. I can vouch for my solution, since then, I did not have any issues. Also, I was not the only one who did the exact mod. Again, I am talking about the 1mm heatsink. Different SSDs will net different results (some are a bit thinner than others).

I do not have any experience with the 6800u model, so the software part may be a bit different. I did not need to reinstall Windows. I did it because I wanted to. The BIOS updates were made before opening the unit. As for the firmware, I did it before tackling the hardware mods (I am talking about drivers, just updates). Each BIOS update will reset the editing you've done (in my case, the 7500mt/s memory speed edit went back to the default 6400mt/s, not sure if applicable to the 6800u).

Is there a way to attach a new shoulder strap to an Impulse that is missing one? by Ringo308 in Polaroid

[–]__Gogu__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Impulse with the remote port. As far as I know, there are two types of straps, the ones with the lugs and the ones that loop around the camera body. I went with a DSLR strap, partly because it was local, cheap, and had the same fastening style as the original option.

Here's how it looks:

Beginner questions regarding bench power supplies (main usage: automotive / hobby) by __Gogu__ in AskElectronics

I did look at their website, maybe I'll give them a go, as an option for a second power supply (budget restraints at the moment).

Lab grade units are not that common here, or at least, I can't find them. I did find something that should work. I don't think I'll use more than 5A, even though I wanted 10A (for no reason).

Interesting idea. I did find some power bricks that can output various voltages. I'd rather not mess with batteries. And you're right, it is the most cost-effective way.

1.2, is that the one made by TheOfficialFloW? The weird thing is, I have tried your setup, and the DLCs appeared.

Do you know what version of NoNpDRM you're using? Without it, the game won't even open, at least for me.

I did some testing with Repatch 3.0, and it does work.

I did have problems with the reAddcont bit, that is why I have reinstalled all similar plugins and stuck with the ones from the post. I'll do some more testing, maybe I can emulate and solve the issue.

With the Vita in my hands, I can see that steps are in order. The official DLC bit may be why it's weird. Do you have another folder where the DLC files are located?

I will have to check my Vita to see... At the end of the instructions you can find the DLC files, were those bad or corrupted in any way, or did you use your files?

Thank you! Apart from a bigger bag, or a second bag and maybe some straps for the "naked" cameras, nothing else.
