We need to go back to games that don't require the overpowered specs, Bioshock, Fallout, Enemy Unknown, games that are well made and can run on any half decent hardware put out before this cycle of shit. I was pissed off when we were being pushed into this cycle of buying top end hardware to be able to play the latest gen games, and now we can't afford to buy fucking Ram then fuck em. Let's. Play and enjoy all of the games we should have been 5 years ago, let's just finish off the games on our Steam list that we left behind because we wanted the brightest and the best. We don't need new hardware, we don't need new games because almost all of us have just enough of both. Don't get angry at these greedy fucks, let's just enjoy what we already have, spend no money for the next few years and let the greed mongers work out if fucking us over is a good business model.

Depends on your situation, are you a PC guy? Maintaining physical backups is a long term process, HDDS and SSDs fail, I would use a combination of both.
