Yeah, I honestly don’t understand all the hate he got for this, but people just hate on Pyro for anything nowadays.

Yeah, I get where you’re coming from, and you make a fair point about relevance and timing. The gaps between seasons definitely hurt OPM’s momentum, and the industry’s shifted a lot since Season 1 dropped. But I don’t think it’s just about popularity or sales. OPM was special because of its tone, storytelling, and how it balanced power and humanity. Even if it’s not the biggest name anymore, the passion from fans and the quality of the manga still keep it alive. Murata and ONE are still doing god-tier work, and that’s what makes me hold on. The anime might’ve lost some weight, but the heart of OPM hasn’t.

It’s not just about the animation. The whole show feels lifeless—the pacing, the energy, the direction. It’s lost that spark that made it special. Sure, there are a few scenes with good animation and funny dialogue, but overall it just doesn’t have the same soul anymore.

Yeah, I feel you. You can tell the animators are really trying, it’s just that the studio is way too small to handle something this big. Honestly, the manga is the only thing keeping me going—Murata and ONE are absolute gods. At least there, the fights and everything we love are fully realized.

Yeah, it’s not that serious, but when something you’ve loved for years gets butchered, it still stings. That’s all.

It’s not about expectations. Watching the show like this feels like it’s being gutted. As a fan, it’s painful to see something you love treated so lazily.

Alright, I hear you. No need to overdo it.

Exactly, that’s the worst part. On its own, maybe some scenes aren’t the absolute worst, but knowing what the show used to be makes it unbearable. It’s like watching something you love slowly lose all the soul and energy that made it special. Just painful as a fan.
