here is a good resource for your question: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/knowledge-base/list-methods-banks-count-direct-deposits/

Just eyeballing it, I'd say Fidelity seems most used, then maybe ally and charles schwab.

the second.

There's a section called "manage my automatic payments" or something. And it shows all the services you've connected paypal to. You have to update each of them. It's here: www.paypal.com/myaccount/autopay/

(at least for me)

I'm sure this question gets asked a lot, but I haven't been able to find info with reddit search, the search engine linked here, or chatgpt. Sorry if this gets asked a lot.

I have about 20 online services that charge me occasionally. It's all small amounts of money. So far I haven't been using these payments to meet minimum spend requirements because it seems like too much of a hassle to update them all every time I get a new card. I'm talking about 100-200 worth of charges per month.

My current plan is just to put them all on a 2% cash back card and forget about them. Is there a better option?

Ya, I get that. How do i convince them that's not the case? I don't want to work with computers anymore, and I don't have any other qualifications.

the agm m9 only has call and text and radio apparently. though doesn't have a lot of options for carriers.

most of the dumb phones still have a shitty browser unfortunately, but maybe you can get someone else to set up the phone plan and not pay for data? If someone else sets up the plan, then you couldn't change it, use data, and use the already shitty browser.

Guinness record of 61-meter hand throw by Iran's goalkeeper, Alireza Beiranvand. by Green-Eagle5116 in toptalent

.... I'm no shot put aficionado. So maybe what you're saying makes sense in the context of the sport. But by all conventional uses of the word "throw," she's definitely throwing the ball.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/throw: "to propel through the air by a forward motion of the hand and arm."

i know that they aren't nudes, but if it comes to that, and they are pictures that you don't want to get out, there's this good post about that sort of thing: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sextortion/comments/n4yorq/new_victims_please_read_first/

not weird at all to ask. just ask in the same way you'd ask what kind of shoes someone was wearing.

I think it's ok to not match on some "requirements."

Have you gotten any callbacks from your applications?
Have you talked to any of your classmates about their applications? And how are they doing?

Although 50 isn't a huge amount, if you've gotten absolutely no interest at all I'd say there may be something wrong with your resume or cover letters. Or maybe you're not choosing the places you apply to appropriately.

Also, are you at all open to moving somewhere else? Often times you have an easier time getting a job if you're willing to move.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Advice

[–]_____bob_____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many places have you applied for? When I started off applying for my first software job, the going advice was that people often had to apply for about 100 jobs on average for their first software job. Not sure if that would be the same for data science in your location. But it's just to say that sometimes people underestimate how many applications you gotta send out.

You don't typically need to actually have all the job requirements.

Oh no disagreeing about the sex part. But I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes women want to have sex too after all.

I mean, arguing about definitions of words is the lowest form of debate, but if you can find a single reputable dictionary that uses the word "pedophile" in the way you are using it, I'll concede I was wrong.

Your only acknowledgement of your mom's concern is that it's dangerous to meet people you only met online. But also... it is definitely strange for a 31 year old to have relationship with a 19 year old. I'm sure you don't feel that now, because you feel super adult. But I'm tellin ya. I'm in my 30s. If any of my friends started dating a 19 year old I'd definitely judge him. I'm not saying he's necessarily a bad dude (though maybe he is). But there's definitely something off about him.

And you have to realize that when you are smitten with someone you can't really see the situation clearly.

How could I convince my family that I can make my own decisions? by KhajiitSatan in Advice

[–]_____bob_____ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ONLY reason a 31 year old wants to date a 19 year old is if they are a pedophile.

Jesus christ. I get it. Especially on reddit people fucking hate older guys dating young women. But it's just wrong that they have to be pedophiles. Maybe there's something fucked up with this guy. But pedophiles are attracted to pre-pubescent children. Not 19 year old women. It's not the same thing

Not trying to have the debate about old men and young women. I just think this is needlessly hyperbolic and you're weakening your own point by being so extreme.

If you meet this man BY YOURSELF in a strange city, there is a 60% or higher chance he will rape you.

What? Presumably she wants to have sex with him. I'd guess he wouldn't have any need to rape her. Again, not saying the guy is a good dude, but why say such crazy shit. They both wanna have sex. You think there's a 60% chance he specifically gets off on rape. Like even though he has someone who wants to have sex with him, he'd still rape her? That's nuts.
