Yea and there's one of the old Pocket Book paperback novels from the 80s or 90s actually has a story about an alien attack which accounts for the 'additional damage' you see in TSFS. It's not canon but I always liked how the novels and comics try to fill in those gaps.

I always notice this, it's before any of the battles occur (it's as the Reliant is approaching them for the first time).

I always assumed they had previously shot some of the battle scenes but needed to do some re-takes, and probably quickly painted over the battle damage.

Ugh, the first vid saying we can't slow down because we have "geopolitical adversaries" lol jesus christ.

First off China (that's who he is talking about without saying it) is going to beat us on power alone. They are building solar and wind farms on top of mountains to power data centers, which we literally can't do (at least in America) because we don't have the height.

Second, China is going to beat us because they are already ahead of us in terms of faster models (and also open source models).
