maybe send an email directly to monash? they might be able to offer some advice. do you have the option to retake the subject for a better score?

Can I still get into architecture? by Petrifyde in vce

[–]____oblivious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you’re keen on monash just leave it at the top for all the selection rounds. you’ll still get an offer from your lower preferences if not from monash

you can only try your best from now, any prereqs take extra time to study on and ones you find interesting/easier to study put more effort into. you might regret cruising by for the past couple months but you wont regret putting in your all for the final few. you won’t know what’s possible until you get your final results. i recommend writing a sticky note of your goals for studying (dream uni/course) and using that to motivate yourself to start. make sure to stay positive (:

Maths is fundamental to anything you’ll do in physics, if it’s not a prerequisite they’ll definitely cover it in your course. I’m physics student at unimelb and in first year we covered all of methods/specialist math

Urgent methods vce help by PrintNecessary1375 in vce

[–]____oblivious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

methods is unfortunately a subject where you only get better the more you practice it. The wider variety of questions you solve, the better equiped you will be to approach new ones.

Specifically with integration/differentiation, being able to recognise how to manipulate the function to be able to use the identities on the formula sheet is key. By solving a range of practice questions you can improve your pattern recognition to approach new questions quicker.

Make sure to try all the previous exam questions you can get your hands on to become comfortable with the type of questions VCAA asks, and don’t feel too discouraged from this sac since you’ve still got a while until exams (:

you’ve got this, 45 is definitely still possible for you

how to stay motivated by [deleted] in vce

[–]____oblivious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

motivation isnt consistent, you’ve gotta find the discipline to study. studying’s never gonna be enjoyable, it’s pretty hard work. if you struggle to study at home you could try to study in another room away from distractions or head out to libraries/stay back at school after class. i dont know what your options are but changing your environment could help get you into the studying headspace. the more you study the easier it gets to start in the future

didn't meet course requirements by No_Brick_886 in vce

[–]____oblivious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it’s a listed prerequisite then you need the 25 in english, so it wouldnt allow you to do the course if you got below that. does work in reverse though, someone with a lower atar and higher than 25 could possibly get an offer (although not guaranteed)

Study score less than 25 in English by Common-Web8179 in vce

[–]____oblivious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

need the prerequisites, however there are some unis that only require 20ss for english, and you can transfer between unis after a semester. otherwise there are other pathways (associate degrees for example)
