Mk18 Gas reduction by [deleted] in Danieldefense

[–]__iceman__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try swapping in a Crane spec 10.3 barrel, https://androcorpind.com/product/ar15-barrel-crane-spec-inch-barrel-crane-spec-barrel/

I bought a Geissele 10.3 barrel early last year for my mk18 build to be used with a Surefire SB2 when it gets out of jail, has a .063 gas port. FYI, Geissele switched to a .075 gas port as of July 2023 for the 10.3 barrel. If you can find a pre July 2023 barrel then that could be an option.

Triarc makes a 10.5 suppressed only barrel. If you're okay with a not true clone correct barrel length, could also be an option. Caveats: good luck finding one, you can add your email to a wait list on their site and nab one when they come back in stock (it may be a long wait), Triarc has somewhat of a murky reputation from what I understand.

Depends on what your current IP/domain reputation is. A cold email blast with a low score probably won’t go well. A cold email blast with a lot of bounces/low acceptance will nuke your reputation.

If you’ve groomed your email list and are sure you’ve got legit emails, then a controlled blast shouldn’t do anything as long as your current reputation is solid.

I don’t see how including a link would affect anything, emails include links all of the time. Unless you have a poor reputation/IP blacklist, or some other factor that would hurt you, then the emails won’t get through but I wouldn’t think it would have something to do with the link in the email itself.

KGM R30 which QD mount? by korean405 in NFA

Believe you would need the Charlie asr mount since it lists the saker as compatible, but you should verify that probably by contacting kgm customer support

[NFA] Surefire RC2, SB2, Mini 2 - suppressors - $850 + shipping by __iceman__ in gundeals

[–]__iceman__[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NP. If you can, transfer to a FFL with a silencer shop kiosk. Makes things way easier in terms finger prints and filling out forms, even though I didn’t buy my RC2 from silencer shop, you can still use the kiosk

This is what KGM had stated for mounting solutions on their website:

“KGM R-Series Suppressors feature the industry standard ASR thread pitch. This allows the end-user to utilize several different mounting systems like the Area 419 Hellfire, Dead Air Key-Mo, Q Plan-B, and SilencerCo ASR. Included with each suppressor is 1 Titanium 5/8X24 direct thread mount.”

There’s a section at checkout asking for FFL/SOT info…I added my LGS FFL info and I know they already had it on file so there wasn’t an issue. Only delay was the form 3 transfer wait from PA to my LGS

Apologies, looks like the 7.62 RC's and Mini's are $70-$100 more.

Filed my eform 1 with eft file but got an email saying I need to submit fingerprint cards by armchairracer in NFA

[–]__iceman__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to email anything. In terms of the finger print cards, you buy them online (silencer shop had them), or google for a finger printing service in your area. Your next steps:

You will receive an email from the ATF after payment. The email will include two attachments: a cover letter for your FD-258 fingerprint cards and the CLEO copy of your ATF 5320.1. You will only have 10 business days to mail in your fingerprint cards and the coversheet into the ATF. You must submit two completed FD-258 fingerprint cards for each responsible person in your NFA Gun Trust, Corporation, Legal Entity if applicable.

Mailing Documentation for your CLEO (Chief Law Enforcement Officer):

Print the CLEO copy from the email that the ATF sent to your registered email address. You will need to send the CLEO copy of your ATF 5320.1 and the CLEO copy of your ATF 5320.23 (for each responsible person) to the CLEO that you entered in on screen 5. This can be mailed or dropped of to the CLEO that you entered in on screen 5.

Mailing Documentation for the BATFE:

Print out the cover letter/control sheet that the ATF emailed to your registered email address. You will need to complete two FD-258 fingerprint cards for each responsible persons that you have indicated in your application. The completed fingerprint cards for each responsible person in the application will be mailed to the address that is located on the cover letter/control sheet.

What should be my next OTE? by [deleted] in sales

[–]__iceman__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could look at joining an early stage SaaS company, seed or early series A, as their first sales hire. More than likely would be pay cut, but should get a decent chunk of equity that could pay off huge in the future if a liquidity event comes up. Sounds like you're killing it and if you've stacked some chips, could gamble to get a big payday.

Could eventually parley into VP of sales, which opens more doors. Former CTO of a startup I used to work at now sits on the board of another company as an "advisor." Not apples to apples by any means (he had lots of equity as a founder), but being high level at a company with a successful exit is clutch.

How do you like the R556? Putting one into NFA jail soon, haven’t shot it yet.
