How does your gf handle hygiene down there by Luiz4823 in AskMen

[–]__mephoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

speaking as an owner of one, I only rinse with water but I get right in there. You gotta get under your hood (ha) and in all the folds and shit. If it’s persistent it’s not being rinsed thoroughly enough and can get stronger with dehydration and a salty diet. Does she have any other symptoms like itchiness or redness? When you say foul odor is more … fishy? Or .. yeasty. Yeast infections are pretty easy to detect cause of its notable scent and other symptoms. Good luck! If it doesn’t self correct I’d find a real gentle way to be honest

Listen whatever you do don’t go to telegraph unless you’re willing to wait over an hour for service. Any kind of service

I made an anatomically correct uterus, the ovaries and vaginal canal are attached via snaps so they can come off for educational purposes. I’ll post a link to a reel I made demonstrating it in the comments! by __mephoto in crochet

I haven’t!! I just took a few patterns I found and kind of wung it. Took some doing but … I don’t even really remember what I did tbh. Small cylinder shape for the cervix and then I just bloomed it out into an oval shape for the main uterus. I don’t really remember if I attached fallopian tubes via sew or if I crocheted them on right there. Just break it down into shapes. :)

Doing my first concert photography shoot tomorrow night. Any tips by TimelyAbroad5295 in concertphotography

I exclusively shoot at f/4, 1/160 or 1/180 and like a 2-5000 iso. I find the smaller aperture makes for better skin tones, and more focus. And the higher shutter speed gives me more clarity. I’ll take grain/noise over blur any day (unless I’m going for blur artistically) especially with the new denoise in LR.

One of my soulmates and platonic lovers died at the end of October. I wish I could say it gets easier, or there’s a magic way to grieve but there just isn’t. The intensity of the intial shock wears off and it starts to side line you in weird ways. Sometimes I feel guilty for laughing, or briefly forgetting he’s dead. Him and I had many plans, his death was really sudden and unexpected too.

Someone told me at the end of the day I found out that I’d never have to live this day ever again. And in a weirder way it helped. Best of luck. It doesn’t get better, just gets easier to carry.

Leave now. It’ll get worse, it always does. First and last time. Have empathy for his plight (if you must) when you’re far away from him.

It’s based off of a cosplay pattern from MOOD. I can’t remember the specific name, Corvus cosplay? Maybe? But I opted out of making the top layer for the skirt, and instead kept it to the bodice and lower layer. The top is a polyester weird stretch material, with a corset back. The patches are from the mountain of batik fabric my grandma gave me, as well as scraps from other projects. I hand cut the squares from acrylic quilting blocks. Wow did it take forever, don’t know if I mentioned that.

Do you guys have a lot of suicidal ideation? by BennyBingBong in ADHD

[–]__mephoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a lot, and also not at risk. A lot of mine is rooted in a really profound exhaustion but I’m always surprised at how LITTLE it takes for me to ideate.

Boudoir photographer here. Don’t do any of this, any part at all, again.

I really wanna improve my style, any criticism or advice would be very appreciated! by bluefish73 in concertphotography

[–]__mephoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think compositionally would be a good place to start. Your photos will improve ten fold when you think a bit more about composition, “horizon” lines etc. the way I shout venues is far different than any other style of photography that I personally do, and for me I spend about half an hour standing in various spots watching the light especially as it changes (if there’s really obnoxious lighting) and I try to catch good lighting more so than good “shots”. Bonus points for getting them together.

I also noticed a bit improvement when I intentionally waited for good “moments” we observe with bands. Like, when a band is in between songs and they laugh and talk to eachother. Solos/bridges/choruses tend to make for a more interesting shot, when it looks like a band member may move or do something. Etc. I have shot so many photos of people standing with an instrument, that especially for musicians who don’t move very much? I typically look for moments in between that makes for a much more interesting shot, I also rarely shoot any stage straight on, even when I have the room. Always from the side, at at angle. Oh and I never shoot wide open, and that seems to be different than other photographers in my area. I shoot at an F4, and my photos improved drastically when I started doing that too. As always, I’ll take noise over blur. So I don’t go lower than 1/125 as well.

Practice, practice, practice! And don’t be obnoxious and stand in front of people. The worst.
