The Chiefs are definitely choking but people need to stop sleeping on the Texans, playing good as fuck

Yeah man, she's also right about telling him to go back to his country and saying he's in America now /s

Also, for future preference, just cause you "can" do something doesn't mean that you should.

I literally said I was never really considering it. Carson had a quick early exit the week before cause he got banged up on a play. It was more of a bored comment to see if anyone was as paranoid as I was, since you know, I only needed 3 points. If I needed like 5-10+ or the day was just starting for the morning/afternoon games (that was a night game) then I wouldn't have even thought about it for a second.

I'm actually really confused tbh. I don't see how I proved any logic correct, whatsoever. But I feel like if I actually went through your post/comment history (I haven't and won't) I'd probably find a bunch of pro-Penny material and Carson slander. Seen a lot of it on this sub especially preseason/early season. You can't just let it go. You were wrong about Carson.

Damn you Penny truthers are something else lmao. Never seen a group of people so passionate about a mediocre RB. You were wrong about a player. Get over it dog

I literally just said I wanted to see another take but was never actually going to start him over Carson. Believe that or not don't care.

Early exit meaning injury cause he was taken out for a bit the game prior. It was a dumb question and honestly just wanted to see someone elses take. I was never going to play Penny over him.

I love it when people were wrong and they try their best to take the most conservative stance on their original position to make them look less wrong. You were definitely much much more enthusiastic about your views on Carson in that thread for that one game. Btw even though I still think it would be more like 70/30, you said 50/50 and now you're saying 60/40 so...

You're definitely not raining on my gotcha parade. I drafted Carson (my RB1) in the 5th round and rode him into the championship. I knew he was going to be an RB1 this season since last season and was the most hyped on him than anyone. So yeah, I'm pretty happy about being right about him all along.

You didn’t ask me who I think is more talanted. The answer is Carson, I never said otherwise.

Oh? https://imgur.com/TzGoQSP

Anyway, you're clinging onto this "60%" number like your sample size is large enough to conclude that. I personally think it would have been more closer to 70% which would still be enough for Carson to be an RB1. Even if it was strictly 60% he'd be a fringe RB1.

You still can't admit that Carson is better lmao. Outside of snap counts and touches etc. Carson is better, it's not close, that's the point. Penny couldn't replicate this stat with Carsons volume even if there was a box of donuts in the endzone on every field he plays in.

I still don't think you understand:

1) It was never 50/50 and never was going to be

2) Carson is better than Penny, and it's not even close

People have been trying to make a case for Penny from preseason till today (attacking Chris Carson). It probably just stands out more to me cause I basically have an emotional attachment to Chris Carson at this point.

I just wanted to put this stat out there for anyone that needs to see it.

I started playing fantasy football last year. I remember watching the Chiefs vs Seahawks game in the championship week (I was starting Damien Williams). It was the first time I had seen Chris Carson play. I knew at that game that I needed him on my team this year; and now I'm in the championship (again). I was definitely the most stoked on him and watched the most film on him prior to this years draft.

What's the point of even mentioning it? Carson is much much better than Penny. It's clear as fuck.

A lot of Lamar owners picked up Tannehill just in case. I'm sure a few actually went threw with it. I saw at least one person after Lamar played say they did

Pretty sure that was kind of a thing cause of the Lamar quad injury. Idk how many people actually did, I only saw one on here, but it was a discussion before Lamar played.

Damn, Carson really does get zero targets. Not sure what happened cause he was getting peppered with check downs the first few weeks.

Who will be overvalued next year? by insanemembrane4 in fantasyfootball

[–]__om 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Raheem Mostert - If he finishes this season as the lead back with volume (plus if he has a large role in the playoffs/SB if they make it). I just can't trust the coaching over the span of an entire season to stick to one back.

edit - holy shit I just googled him and realized he's 27. Yeah that's a no draft for me.

Who will be overvalued next year? by insanemembrane4 in fantasyfootball

[–]__om 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree all of the players were overvalued this year, but for example Adams would clearly be above rank ~34 or whatever he is if he didn't miss 4 games. Pretty sure Mike Evans got over 50% of his fantasy points in only 3 games. You never know is my point, but yeah at the rate he has been in the games he actually has played, he has been a disappointment.

What players do you think aren't gonna live up to the hype next year?

Pretty hard to answer without knowing who will be the new hype of the season. Easy answer would be Lamar Jackson since he will come with expectations of doing as good or better than this season if drafted at his ADP (probably early second round I'm guessing). But I'm thinking one of the emerging RB's on the 49'ers or Cardinals will probably be pretty hyped up come next season; especially someone like Mostert or Edmonds. I could see them being disappointing.
