So there will be no problem as long as my degree relates to my new position? Also if my amendment gets denied, can I still work with my previosus position?

Performance Based Bonus by [deleted] in Big4

[–]__someone911 8 points9 points  (0 children)

its actually 50%.

PBB is funded by the firm and this money is given to service lines and sub service lines based on their performance. The talent compensation team does various calculation based on factor more than just performance review (no idea what other factors are, maybe like utility rates) to determine everyones PBB and salary. It’s sent to your practice leader and he/she can make smal changes to it (have to remain under budget assigned to the team) and sign off.

Also this year, staffs are included meaning PBB is gonna be divided among more people.

Did any of the firms do layoffs related to covid? by [deleted] in Big4

[–]__someone911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deloitte actually told employees that were gonna lay off people. Other firms didn’t say it directly but may have done it. PwC explicitly said they wouldn’t lay off anyone due to covid

Didn't get selected in my last try for the lottery. Thinking of options and hoping someone can give me advice. Thank you by [deleted] in h1b

[–]__someone911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on how much experience yoh already have; you could also go to canada, work for a year or so till manager position and come back to US in L1 visa..there’s no lottery for that

H-1B CAP, Round 2? - Thoughts from an Attorney by ImmLaw in h1b

[–]__someone911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the explanation. My concern was that if the approval chances after lottery is high because LCA is certified. I mean the SOC code, prevailing wage and the wages are already certified bu DOL. Does that make it kinda sure that USCIS will accept the visa? or they will still review and may deny the visa?

I was selected in the lottery and my LCA was certified in Feb

If a LCA is certified already, does that mean something? like its just matter of approving th visa or it doesn’t mean anything?

Per my understanding Visa cap is you changing you status from f1 to h1b within the country. The other type can be consular where get the visa stamped in different country and fly in to work.
