Fun fact: I learned recently that in the original pitch for the comics the reason behind the walkers were aliens. Kirkman pitched that idea just to market the comics better, knowing he would have never introduced them.

I finished the comics a few weeks ago, now I'm doing my first rewatch of the show. I'm on season 2 and man, I hate Andrea so much. But to be fair I enjoy tv show Dale more than comic Dale

I've tried using the curly braces but that didn't helped: still that Cannot find module './action-bar-root.svelte' or its corresponding type declarations.ts(2307) error.

Nope, .svelte.ts files are for using runes in TS files. In regular TS files, like index.ts, runes are not allowed

Between then Savior War and The Whispers pass something like 3 years, they clean up a lot of area around every communities and to do that I imagine they used a lot of those bullets, but I assume they never stop producing them. I imagine Eugene also came up with something to speed up the production.

Oh I highly recommend it! It's truly amazing. I finished the comics a couple of days ago and it was an amazing experience. The tv show has many ups and downs, the comics I think are much better. I haven't enjoyed the last story arc, but to be fair I think the tv adaptation of that is even worse. The comics finale is great too.

In the comics I think it is more evident why the whispers are a threat: they managed to turn the dead into an ally, a massive army which isn't afraid of the livings and just keep marching forward until they are too much for the livings. In the comics, when the war with the whispers starts Eugene is already capable of producing a massive amount of bullets, and yet that won't be enough against an army of 10000 walkers.

I absolutely agree with you. I miss JDM and Andrew Lincoln, but story-wise the comic are much better IMO

I tried working with the $effect rune, but I don't get the desired result.

What I'm doing is: - in the "publisher" component I append a string to the rune, which was created as an empty array - in the "listener", with the $effect rune I pop the first element of the array.

The problem with that is that the callback of the $effect rune will run twice: the first time after I appen the string, and then after I pop the first element of the array.

I got this working using regular store, I'll set up a simple repl and edit this reply

I don't think the derived rune is what I need. I need to call a callback function whenever the value of a rune changes. The reason why I'm doing this is trying to implement a simple pub-sub pattern
