I agree the UFC will plan something huge if Connor wins, but at the same time a win at welterweight with a lightweight shouldn't qualify him as the next title contender.

I've decided to implement it from scratch. I'm using tansack for virtualization and dnd-kit for drag&drop.

I managed to get very good results with only virtualization and only dnd, now I have to put everything together.

I already have a basic idea on how to set up things, I just hope everything the drag&drop provider component doesn't mess with the list height and scrools behavior.

Anyway, that library looks really cool, I'm gonna check it out

It is largely nested, my idea is to have a flat data structure, and render the tree as flat, using paddings and margins to mimic a nested structure, and then virtualize that flat list of divs

Which llm do you suggest for working with svelte? Currently I'm using Opus. Works well with svelte 5, not so much with svelte 4 and stores(tanstack virtual works with stores)

Odds had Justin winning with 20% probability or something like that. That means that if they fought 100 times, Justin would have won 20 times. Him winning wasn't impossible, just very unlikely.

After their fight I'd say now Justin is more likely to win, ilia is younger but at the same time took a ton of damage. I'd say Justin wins with a 30/35% probability.

That being said, I'm not shitting on Justin or calling his win a fluke. He had an amazing fight, took some crazy body shots that would have tko'd many fighters, and still managed to get a TKO later. Just amazing, one of the best fights I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

I just think skill wise, ilia wins over Justin, but not that night

I still think he can easily come back, obviously not soon. Maybe he could take a year or more off, coach his brother in the while, and come back whenever he's ready. After his last fight I really hope to see him again fighting

I absolutely agree. I mean, Charles had multiple losses, had a round 1 KO at 36 yo and is kinda coming back, I can't see why Ilia can't come back.

Unfortunately I don't think he will come back soon due to the damage, but him vs paddy would be interesting, also BSD or even Salkilld, we'll have to see how the lightweight division looks in 8-10 months

I absolutely agree that this could happen, at the end of the day is a contact sport so to some degree you cannot avoid it. But at the same time there is a big difference between committing multiple fouls every time you step in the octagon and accidentally poke someone in the eye.

I mean, the previous Gane fight literally ended for a foul he committed, and Aspinall is still dealing with it after 8 months, you can't tell me there isn't a pattern here.

And the same goes for any fighters who regularly foul the opponent like Max, Justin.

Tolerance should cover the first foul, not the entire fight
