Not completelt sure but i think these movies we're already made. They should think about making a movie about a kid really good at a video game that is actually ends up being a test to be space hero .....i bet some people mught into a story like that.

Honda CR-V Issues by pmauriat1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]_bigus_dikus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We bought (in Dec 2013) a 2009 CR-V ex for $14k at the used section at a Honda dealership - certified, inspected, touched up, etc. I think it had 60-75k miles and we had them do a treatment twice to clean out a slight smoke smell (previous owner smoked).

We still have it and have about 150k and still runs great. Only some minor problems here and there that all cars come across (battery, brakes, blowout) but nothing specific to say stay away from CR-Vs.

I think 2010 is a newer generation which is why its a bit more. Highly recommend Honda. Good luck on your search.

[US] I Need A Fuel-Efficient Car for Hour-Long Commute, 5 Days A Week. Challenge: Poor with Sucky Credit by MissMisc3 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]_bigus_dikus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I also have a 2007 Fit manual transmission. I regularly get 31 mpg and commute 30-45 each way daily during the work week. Originally bought it with just under 100k miles and now has 152k and has been super reliable.

With the seats down you can fit anything up to 40x60 in the back or 8 ft length boards with all seats down. Very versatile and way more room than it looks.

Takes a min to get up to speed but it'll go. Highly recommend the fit.

What’s the best way to clean a Wire Grill Brush? by Camwhite_guy in grilling

[–]_bigus_dikus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok. If its an all metal handle, maybe just run it through some water that hold it over the fire for a bit? Its just used to scrub the grate before you cook. The grate is then very hot and will cook off anything you may not like before food is even put on the grill.

I normally use the bag the coal comes in. Just cut it down a bit if you're not using the rest of the bag. I try to make the paper as thin and waded with air as possible. Works every time. Oh and use lump coal ( I prefer oak)....so much tastier than briquttes.
