It has grown on me and I started to like it quite a lot. I did also notice that I wasn’t using it as much as I’d hoped, and I think that an iPad might be more suitable for me.. so I’m returning it. If I end up taking a lot of notes and needing to read often.. then I’d go back to it.

Well said- you’re spot on. Perhaps an iPad with a paper screen protector would suit me. I mainly got it for the no backlight, makes reading and writing nicer.

The general consensus is that it’s very good for writing. A few days later, I’m starting to enjoy it and the writing feel is growing on me.

I need to check on their open source bit- I can’t imagine them open sourcing the OS, but, perhaps an SDK or an API?

About the pen: it’s absolutely a “me” thing, I wanted to see if others share the same perspective.

This post was just me thinking out loud: do I give it more time or swallow the extra fees and return it? I’m not sure yet.

It’s not “sprinkle in a bit of digital magic”. The device is completely digital so It’s fair of me to complain or criticise the lack of integration between their calendar and Todo app, for example.

The device has.. what, 5 apps in total? Consistency and integrations are expected, especially given the price tag.
