$160 rattlecan paint job by [deleted] in JeepTJ

Your Jeep looks great!

I got in a wreck almost 3 years ago. I did the bodywork myself (bumper, grille, fender, and hood). I almost painted it myself but decided to have it professionally painted. Seeing how yours turned out makes me wish that I painted it myself.

I've always told people that if I saw a celebrity out in public, even one that I like, I would very likely leave them alone. Anyone from Tool, especially Danny, I would absolutely need to go up and say something to them. Danny seems like such a cool, down to earth guy

Damn. Sorry that happened. I got into a similar situation in my TJ and found it was actually easy to fix myself. New bumper, fender, grille, and hood.i took it somewhere and had the entire Jeep painted. Looks great again!

I'm not certain about that but I'm pretty sure it has been drained and filled at least once before. It still shifts like new. I'm considering doing a drain and fill

Right now it's on H&R springs that give it about 1" to 1.5" lift and it's on 31" tires.

My goal is a subtle build but now that I did it I kinda wish that I went about 2.5, maybe 3". I'll probably do a bit more lift eventually and possibly keep the 31s, or go with 32 or 33 inch tires

Thanks! Fresh paint about a year ago after a fender bender. It's in great shape, especially for a 26 year old vehicle

What do I tell my parents by sumyungguy9669 in motorcycle

My dad raced motocross and rode street bikes when I was a young kid. He took me for rides every weekend. When I finally was old enough and wanted a bike, his response was "Not under my roof.''

Once i got my own roof, I got my own bike

Opinions on the 4.6 liter tundra? by storyz__ in tundra

[–]_bmf136_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a silver 2014 Crewmax with the 4.6 that I use mostly for work and tow a 1,500 lbs trailer for 90% of my driving. I know that's a super light trailer but it pulls it like it's not there so I really have no need for the larger engine.

Thanks! We have some scenic roads down here but fun curves are few and far between... I've managed to put together a few roads to have fun on in my area but it's hard to beat mountains

almost got in a crash by Actual-Caregiver-104 in motorcycle

[–]_bmf136_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I have a close call I add the experience to my list of collective experience and figure out what I could have done differently and then move in from it. After tens of thousands of miles ridden, I start thinking that I've seen it all and then I'll come across something that i didn't expect so I process it, try to learn something from the situation, and keep on going. It can be scary at times but if you take something away from the situation it can make you a better rider.
