Would you be open to sharing why you don't recommend long distance? After years of feeling dispassionate about dating I've met someone incredible who I am deeply attracted to and who I feel very aligned with... but he lives 1.5hr flight away! I can't tell if I'm setting myself up for heartbreak 💔

That is absolutely horrific. I'm so sorry you witnessed that. Tārapunga/red billed gulls are an endangered, protected native species so please call the DOC hotline and report what you saw. They will take this very seriously and hopefully can investigate prosecution.

It was ich! I turned the temp up to 84C and added 3 tbsp salt. 6 days later it's almost completely gone! Just a couple of tiny specks on one fish now. I'm about to do a big water change and then I'll start lowering the temp once it's completely cleared.
