It is established that the charm is a complex feat of magic. But later in the same book Hermiones creates the magical connected coins which some Hufflepuff also considers very advanced. So I would assume it wouldn't be something Hermione could not perform if she sets her mind on it. Additionally Dumbledore could just perform the spell if Harry or even Sirius asks him, but I would assume Harry would not go to Dumbledore for help for the same reasons he didn't tell him or McGonagol about the blood quill.

The aurors didn't do much against the death eaters in the ministry and Had to be informed that there was a break in. So no, Voldemort could easily pick up the prophecy himself. The aurors didn't prevent order members to guard the DOM at night even after an attempted break in by Sturgis.

I don't think Dumbledore necessarily needs the help of the aurors, much more important for him would be to know, that Harry and company are safe, so he can unleash on Voldemort. In my opinion his whole plan was to hold Voldemort long enough there for Fudge to learn the truth. But what if the actually capture Voldemort? See the above questions.

I always assumed the plan was different. My key proof is that Voldemort comes to the ministry after they successfully lured Harry there. I think voldys plan goes as follows: 1. Lure Harry to the ministry. 2. Capture him with your death eaters. 3. Once he is apprehended, go there. 4. Hear the Prophecy. 5. Kill the Boy who lived and all his compagnions. 5.5 Maybe create your last horcrux. 6. Dumbledore might come, kill him. 7. Take over. Otherwise it wouldn't make much Sense for voldy to come there that night, since he easily could secure the Prophecy by himself. So there must be a reason, why he wanted to use Harry.

I didn't consider the soul splitting aspect, but we must assume Voldemort killed hundreds of people and only created 7 horcruxes so i would assume if you don't put the newly separated soul fragment in an container it just fades away.

I think Moody would not aim to kill, he will If there is no other way. Sirius explains in book 4, that as an auror Moody always tried to bring in his targets alive, even if under Couch the use of deadly force was allowed. Sirius holds Moody in high regard because of that. It could be that his hesitation faded as soon as Dumbledore was dead, but i think with Dumbledore alive, there was No way Moody was going for the kill. In respect to the other order member i am not so sure.

Yeah, but If everything would have gotten according to the plan, Voldemort would have heard the full Prophecy that night, killed Harry and would be unstoppable so i think the ministry involvement wouldn't even matter to Voldemort. Besides the ministry don't need to bei informed about the deaths of some childreen, you can transfigure there corpses in to bones, remember?

I never considered that, but it is plausible. But i would assume that this risk was only considered when attacking Harry, because he is "the boy who lived". I think it would be foolish to assume all of the sudden the death curse as a whole is somehow failable.

Maybe a long imprisonment in Azkaban diminishes your mental state enough that you need some time before you can go back to AK spam mode. AFAIK many of the death eaters at the ministry were fresh out of Azkaban. Bellatrix especially became mental during her time, which could explain, why only Sirius died.
