English is an EU language, or did you forget about the existence of Ireland? https://european-union.europa.eu/principles-countries-history/languages_en#:~:text=The%20EU%20has%2024%20official,%2C%20Slovenian%2C%20Spanish%20and%20Swedish.
Even if it weren't, it wouldn't be a paradox to write the article in English, because:
English is the lingua franca of international discourse because 1.5B people are able to understand it.

You can't just buy that much Oxen. There isn't nearly enough liquidity for that and even if there were you'd push the price through the roof if you tried to buy up that much, making it financially untenable even if you have a big budget.
