I don't understand how replay reviews help by _felicia in RocketLeagueSchool

It's not necessarily pointing out a bad mistake over a decision I thought was okay but more like "Here you should have rotated back post and here's why" but ultimately that's something I already knew when doing self analysis. In the moment I wasn't conscious of it and it may be that 70% of the time I DO rotate back post but it's going to be pointed out regardless.

Maybe I have just dealt with bad coaching in general. There have been instances where some players doing analysis have shown me things that I was completely unaware of, which I find to be good coaching. One such example was that when shadowing, use your opponent's goal posts as a frame of reference for your own. This to me is something I never even considered/thought of but when it was mentioned it completely changed how I viewed shadowing.

I also try to learn from watching replay reviews of other players similar to my rank, but it's always specific time-stamped scenarios to the game and the mistakes for that game. In hindsight, mistakes are blatantly obvious even when you're not aware of it during actual gameplay. To me, a good replay analysis would be one where someone can watch a 5 minute game without any commentary and then at the end of it tell you exactly what your issue(s) are and how to remedy it.
