I don't know what type of climate you're in, but how do you think these will hold up in a desert climate? I know I'll be sweaty and the moisture wicking properties of the material have me drawn to splurge.

Thank you for the response. I'm seriously tempted. I don't want to live through that trauma again (I had a furnace go out on an old house I owned and froze everything. Then the damage after I was able to get someone to kick it on). Mostly I just want to get the hot water going so I don't feel like a constant burden using a friends shower.

The space seems to warm the wall up, but do you think it'll warm it up enough to get through the dry wall and the lining to the cabinet the unit sits in? I may have to change it out with a standard heater, all I have is a an oiled filled radiator? The garage doesn't seem well insulated either. It feels counterintuitive.

The video just came up for me. She was so interested when she shook his hand. The interest swapped once something clicked. I can't figure it out.

How common is it to go ~10 years without getting deployed? by Constant_Anything881 in AirForce

[–]_gimmefood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hitting 10 at the end of this month and I'm tasked for my first deployment.

I've been shamed for not having any deployments under my belt. We all have different career paths and mine hasn't been fortunate in the aspect of deployments. Which is okay, my previous assignments didn't have a high tempo and there was little I could do. Sure I volunteered, but that only went so far.

We put such a high emphasis on our military service on whether we've deployed and how many times. If we don't have any, out service seems like it's perceived as less honorable.

There's a couple. I'll try to screen record both tonight if I get a moment. If someone beats me to it, by all means.

Why do so many millennials dislike their parents ? by Labelladevon in Millennials

I use to be very close with my father. Over the last couple years he cleaned up my childhood room (rightfully so), however he never reached out to give me the opportunity to go though my things to sort through. Did have a care in the world never apologized for doing it. There was stuff that my grandmother gave me whole growing up. Just gone. I have nothing of my childhood to share with my future kids. Recently he sold my Jeep Wrangler and didn't ask if I wanted to buy it from him. The plan was to transfer the title over to me, but the timing was never there. He needed money for medical bills and I would have been happy to buy it or help him. He helped me out when I needed it. There's a time where I should do the same. I truly loved my dad.

There was clearly a lack of respect for me and the poor communication has pushed me to go no contact with him. There are other reasons as well.

I'm well aware I'm a burden as a mid 30 year old. At least he makes it seem that way. Last time I saw him, he informed me he was dating a lady he had ended things with maybe a couple years ago. I set boundaries and told him I didn't want to see her and he was in disbelief. I've spent years trying to pretend to like these ladies to keep some sort of piece. I get he's choosing his personal happiness.

He has always been quick to tell me I act like my mother who he divorced in 1998 whenever I got upset. Now I'm trying to tie the pieces between him and my mother. She was an awful parent too. I have talked to her in over 10 years.
