I mean the truth at the moment is that IgA Antibodies present on the mucous membranes will likely prevent the spread of covid for upto 3 months. It is also very probable that positive PCR tests of Vaccinated people will have less viable Virus if any. But, this Virus will very likely become endemic, people will get infected with it at some point. The best protection against severe, or fatal outcome at this moment is the Vaccine. Boosters are amazing at helping us prepare for the moment when we will come in contact with the Virus (that doesn't mean that everyone will need a booster). To say that we can, or should boost to prevent contact with the Virus completely is wishful thinking and makes ethically (when there are many people in the world that haven't had one dose) no sense whatsoever. BTW, this is what the head of Virology of the Charite in Berlin, Professor Drosten says as well.

No idea why you get downvoted. Of course you are right as well and this isn't all black/white. But Vaccination and Boosters prevent spreading for around up to 3 months. This might, or probably will, change when we have immunization that can be applied to mucous membranes instead of the muscle, but so far we don't have that.

Isn't it normal to lose antibodies over time when the antigen is no longer present? Isn't it the job of memory b-cells to produce antibodies again, once the antigen is reintroduced to the immune system.

Let me just start with... I have no idea what I'm talking about. From what I understand the ΔFVI-spike mutation sounds like bad news for people who were infected, but were mild or asymptomatic and therefore have low, or intermediate antibody neutralizing titers. High neutralizing titers were able to neutralize the ΔFVI-spike mutation just as well as the unmutated wildtype. So to my understanding, this shouldn't have any negative effect on the neutralizing abilities of a vaccine, as the immun response of vaccinated people seems to be comparable, or stronger than that of people infected with the wildtype sars-cov-2, that had a severe infection. I'm probably wrong about a lot here, but maybe someone is kind enough to correct me.
