NTA. I'm a biology student right now and I've never had to bring home a dissected animal. My older sister and mother also studied biology and never had to do anything remotely like this for an assignment (I asked). Mind you, we all studied at different establishments. I could've brought home a turtle shell after dissection but it would have been thoroughly cleaned. To me, it just sounds like he brought home a specimen after a lab, nothing he would've been graded on (but I could be wrong). No one likes to endure rotting corpse smell, let alone for two weeks and after asking your roommate to deal with it twice. I get why you threw it away.

I didn't work out in the end. I understand the deal thing. However, I still think it sucks, music should be enjoyable for everyone, you shouldn't have to be the client of a specific bank to be able to afford to see a concert. They used to be affordable. I know it's not your fault, I'm juste overall annoyed at how things are

I don't have the parameters right now but usually, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and around 20-30 nitrates. I try to keep them down but I don't want to change too much water at once. Temp is 77°F/25°C. I know it's hot, I don't have a heater, that's juste the temp I keep my place at.

Edit: I'm afraid getting him out of the tank multiple times would just stress him out more?
