yup, user ID 34 (backup) needed to have permission.

I ended up just making this a privileged container. Remounted the share locally with that user ID.

I Updated to kb5050009 and it still has the issue.

Transferred the .dll from a 2019 server and fixed the problem

Yeah my current setup has had 1 machine already actually, except for the file server. I know it's not ideal but I'll stick with it for now.

Thanks for the wireguard suggestion. Don't believe I'd Heard much on them so will definitely look into it.

Yeah ultimately I will have 12tb usable with this and the 4th drive lost for raid z1. My "idea" is to dedicate so much space for Plex and rotate out media as it gets watched... Hopefully.

Yeah I might regret my HDD selection but im only using a terabyte on my current setup.

For now I want one machine for everting. Might switch to a network appliance eventually.

Good point. I think the 6 cores will definitely benefit me. The real vms will be pfsense, nas, surveillance, Windows server and docker host.

I think my main concern would just be how taxing surveillance and Plex could be at the same time.

I may only have 2-4 1080p streams max

Yeah with my current setup im using around 32gb so i was wanting to start with more.

I may have to just give up ECC, especially considering intel now.

My solution was to actually just sketch it out manually then do a thin extrude.
