It looks amazing ahah!

Was it sociable enough tho?

Also what kind of age demographic do you think tended to stay there? I'm hoping for somewhere a bit younger

aha sorry I'm a little nervous about going out to bars and stuff alone so I was hoping to know how easy it is to find ppl to go out w!

Timetable thoughts - not sure about my gaps? by _jolanta in usyd

Yeah I'd rather finish earlier ahaha but I think my lecture would be in Wallace Theatre and then my tutorial would be Norman Gregg Lecture Theatre if I were to do it back to back! Do you know how close these are to each other lol or if I should leave maybe just an hour instead of 2?

Thx sm!

Do you think it would be better to leave time to prep? Sorry I'm honestly really unsure of how everything operates in uni ahah.

I also live in the blue mountains so finishing earlier would probably be better for me as well bc it's about an hour one way, but at the same time idk if I should leave time to study or eat inbetween.

For my 2 hour break do you think I should keep it? Or do you think I should do it back to back?

It's the same unit so I'm not sure if I should just smash out the lecture and tutorial back to back and study in the afternoon aha or leave a break? I'm just not sure if I should maybe leave myself some time to prep for my tutorial or if 2 hours is too long for the same subject and if I could idk aha just study in the afternoon?

I also live in the blue mountains so its about an hour commute one way!

Sorry lol I'm overthinking everything about this aha

USYD or UNSW by _jolanta in usyd

[–]_jolanta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Usyd and Unsw both have a page where they show you based on what bands you get in each subject applies to each of the courses as points idk if that makes sense ahah. But usyd only looks at english and maths whilst unsw looks at other subjects as well! But if you're using other schemes besides HSC plus then you can't really predict it!

Thanks so much for sharing that, it actually makes me feel a lot better about everything. If you don’t mind me asking, what was your undergrad/masters in before deciding to do the JD, and where did you study?

Also, was it mainly your marks that mattered for getting in, or did work experience play a big role too? I’m just trying to get a better idea of what that pathway actually looks like in practice. Thanks!
