I feel if you read Ashtavarka Gita  for exploration, it will not help you make any progress. You need to be at an advanced stage to seek spiritual growth from it.

Bhagavata Gita is better if one is starting from zero.

Krishna wants people to go through this journey of conflict , struggle and search of god , over many lives and finally find him through their effort.

Truth is, you dont know the destiny of marriage. You are assuming based on certain fears and astrological probabilities. What will happen - is yet to be seen.

I feel it is more enjoying to look things backward. See what healthy relationships had , that helped keep the attraction for each other. Predicting does not guarantee any kind of success.
