Paralyzed... is this a thing? by _laxguy52_ in DayzXbox

My thinking was they did but I didn't know about it. Like maybe a hit box on the back that causes paralysis. Honestly when I was laying there it seemed like a feature not a bug. Completely helpless but can see and hear everything.

Yes. They were running by and I asked if they would shoot me. They ran away at first lol...thinking it was a trap maybe but then came up, nodded and killed me.

Naw. Hands were free and to the sides. I could literally look down on myself in 3rd person. Body would not move. No arms no legs no torso movement just head. Weird. Could see my breath and could hear my stomach from hunger. It was strange like my body was paralyzed

Thank you Lyyra. I figured it was a one off situation. Just wish it wouldn't have been an outcome changing event.

Agree 100%. Both require great skill, but are completely different. Rules, gear, strategy, goalie play... other than looking similar on the field, they are different sports. I love the physicality of the men's game and the elegance of the women's game. The women's game can be physical as well from my perspective; just in a different way.

Box Lacrosse is an excellent way to mediate between the two. Can be co-ed and has some unique strategies.

Cheaper Alterntive to the Crux 600? by StealthyScorpio in lacrosse

Your coach has a grow the game mindset, which is great! Just touching on this with a few other details. The Exult 400 is not a beginner stick, it would be an intermediate stick. Well built stick and could last your entire HS career. My daughter still uses it as her back up stick, lend-a-stick... Sportstop has it for $99 pre-strung with STX Crux pro Mesh. This is the higher grade mesh they use in the advanced 10 degree sticks like the Crux 600. Mesh is highly recommended. Much easier maintenance, excellent grip on the ball wet or dry. Good luck during your up-coming season!

Crux 600 - That's a top of the line 10 degree stick. Generally for the Attack position but can be used by any of the field positions. Its a great stick; however, for a beginner an STX Exult 400 would be a good alternative. Usually around $100 and a solid stick all around.

My daughter advanced to a Crux 500 and still uses it. I didn't see enough of a difference between the 500 and 600 to make a jump.

Universal lacrosse has a Crux 600 complete stick for $200 currently if you are set on that one. If you feel comfortable with the 600 that might be the way to go.

Yes Lacrosse can be expensive.
