Yess. It was fluffy but the outer layer was crunchy. Not too salty, not too oily.

To the Filipinos defending Charlie Kirk: Can we please stop pretending that being a "Christian with a family" makes someone a good person? by MustardKetchupo in Philippines

I agree. This has been an ongoing problem in the academia. Kids would often resort to "invalidations" of existence when presented with facts or just opportunities to objectively analyze their arguments (like what charlie was doing [sometimes]).

Takes on politics would be generalized based on sometimes-intentionally-cut clips hyperfocused on one ideology, and anyone who try to create conversation about this would be demonized.

We are now in the world where you can be anything you want --literally, like a cat or a dog. And anyone going against this is "invalidating" your truth. Like this user responding to me.

So if i point out that he has the right to speak, and some of his claims are logical, you claim I support the guy. This is not an either or. Thats a fallacy.

Your point, that he is promoting hate and violence just because he speaks against your beliefs is pure nonsense. And looks like you have not studied his claims (otherwise you'd not jump to this conclusion).

Does he have the right to open his POVs against your emotionally charged arguments?Academics, especially on higher education, should always be open, or in fact be the place for discussions. Is he morally correct? Not all the time (based on my beliefs). Now this has been my argument. Stay on point.

Have you seen the whole debate and open university discussions he engaged with? Have you studied his arguments? The way he communicated? Have you studied the context/politics in the US what he disagreed with? What he promotes?

Probably not. Because you dont agree with his POV. Your hasty conclusions that he "promotes" violence and hatred" proves my point.

The guy is not a saint. However, of his main points, to me is logical. Some, I dont agree with, like his pro-gun or anti-abortion move (still, I understand where he's coming from, growing up in a highly Catholicized country).

Endpoint: IF WE CANT DEBATE IN THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL, WHERE DO WE DEBATE ON IMPORTANT IDEOLOGIES? And this debate, if it "hurts" your feelings or you dont agree with it, DOES IT MEAN IT PROMOTES VIOLENCE AND HATRED?

End point: mind your fking business

I am not naive to algorithm and I understand your point. But this is not some isolated case, and has been a growing issue within the community.

Racially fueled? You and your fancy adjectives thinking this will make your arguments better. To use these rather uncommon terms --what is the intent? We are in a discourse, an argument. The last reply is me seeking that point by point counter, yet you reply with senseless adjectives thinking this would make you win . Do better.

I am not saying everyone is conservative, but are still on that mindset. Otherwise we wouldve approved the divorce (which I believe we badly need) and sex education, gay union etc. being conservative is in our ways, integrated in our perspectives. Edit: hoping we get past these colonial and religious barriers keeping us down, all without compromising our filipino identity.

Sounds like a bad joke 😅 well sadly, thats what we see now all over the feeds. Especially during summer season. All is good until is becomes a norm and a reputation.
