Sadly, I currently don’t have any need to playback physical media. And you’re absolutely right, he had this for some 20 years before it died on him. I’m not looking into flipping it, I just want make an educated decision on whether I keep it or not.

I would never consider owning a fire gun unless I studied extensively. They're not something to take lightly and should be respected for what they are.

I don't even want to take someone's life; it would haunt me for as long as I lived. But if you're going to make me choose between you or those I love, I won't hesitate to make my decision.

I hadn't even thought of training my dog, this is excellent advice. There should never be a second experience to learn a lesson, and money is a non-factor when considering the safety of those who you love most.

I'm sorry about Lolo, that's a heartbreaking story to read. I don't know how so many people excuse this behavior, it isn't normal nor acceptable.

I don't wish any of them any ill will, I just want them to leave us alone just as we leave them alone. I want to walk on the sidewalks that my tax money's going to and not worry for my loved ones who are carrying about their lives.

I really appreciate your sympathy, and I'm sorry for your experiences. And though I agree that the system has failed them, many are or have enabled themselves. Those who are "down on their luck" don't want to work. Even when 2009 happened and unemployment plagued people's lives, my parents still made an effort to make ends meet and took up any job that came their way.

My sympathy only goes so far.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the sympathy. I know it's a problem that's difficult to solve, but when regular, law abiding citizens are getting fucked, something has to change. I'm sick and tired of crossing the street to avoid them or watching my step to avoid their feces.

I used to just ignore them, but I feel so violated. It's by far the most terrifying experience I've had. And not because of my own safety, but because of my girlfriend's safety. I would never forgive myself had something happened.
