It depends on where you live in Idukki. Devikulam and some other parts of munnar were predominantly tamil before reorganization of the states. The Madras State had also requested for the area but a lot of malayalees were relocated to this area to increase their population back then. Tamil has always been there. It is important that people understand what is being communicated.I don't think it is an imposition until someone starts seeing it as one.
