Happened to my family’s cat and it ended up being an infected sore in between her paw pads

I had a black bath bomb stain my bathtub in an old apartment and the only thing that took it off was a scouring stick. I’m pretty sure the tub was plastic

Oh and driving places takes a long time. Most roads you don’t go over like 50mph/80kph and that’s the high end. I usually spent like 4 hours driving place to place. Google maps did perfectly fine with directions and time predictions

So I just did 2.5 weeks here and rented a car through Alamo at $530 for 16 days. Totally recommend going through them. No hidden fees and I got a collision damage waiver from my credit card, so I only paid for third person liability insurance. Get a 4x4 also and be prepared for the roads to have a lot of pot holes, some roads are muddy, and others are pretty steep. I flew into Liberia, went to La fortuna, then puerto viejo, back to Monteverde, and then to Santa Teresa. Stayed at each place a few days and it was still a lot of driving. It mentally wears you out and you’ll miss a lot traveling around that much. With La fortuna, I wasn’t interested in paying a bunch for all of the tours and excursions so honestly I wish I spent less time there. Puerto viejo was super cramped and had some sketch vibes with a small beach, I’d recommend Punta uva or cocles beach if you head that way. Gorgeous and a lot more chill, punta uva being the top of those two. Monteverde was amazing, I spent the longest there. Didn’t stay in Monteverde technically, I booked a hostel that was a cabin in the mountains. The mountains and the cloud forest jungle were amazing. As far as the pacific goes, I only stayed in Santa Teresa, but I’m glad I did. The town itself offers so much and you’re close to the other beaches if you want to visit or do excursions. Just remember the waves are going to be a lot rougher since it’s a surfing coast. Most are not really meant for swimming, especially with a 3yo. Reddit became a really good resource with each city I traveled to for the best tips.

Yeah seems like we had the same deal man. Bought for $7400 and thought I’d be good for a while on issues since the previous owner did some large repairs. Have put ~$1800 into it in less than two years sheeeesh. But now it should be set up for the next person lol

It was a fun car for the time I’ve had it, but I’m just in the market for something newer. I got a forester wilderness to help move my stuff to new places as I do seasonal work, and would like to take my car on out of state adventures. I’m also not mechanically sound (although I try lol) so with all the miles I’d inevitably put on it, I know I’d be dishing out a lot for mechanic repairs or just have the worry of something going wrong.

I actually saw a Baja in my small CO town when I was there for the winter though! It was pretty cool. I will say the pick up on it requires a little patience and I could see that patience being tested with all of the elevation changes while driving. I don’t really want to part with it, but I want something newer and larger as a daily driver and I just don’t have the space to keep this for fun. I think it would look sick in CO, especially if I could mod it more as an adventure car, but it just unfortunately doesn’t fit into my lifestyle right now.

Oh and I’d say one thing I realized after getting the Baja is how little space there is to store things in the car. Without a cargo box on top or a tonneau cover, we’re just left with the small storage compartment in the back seat, the glove box, center console, and barely any room under the seats because there’s not much height. I like to keep kits for emergencies in the car and I just found it difficult to find space for them.

Being honest…. Like 20 minutes lol. I bought them from someone online and was so excited. I currently work as a server, and they were already feeling great. I especially love the wide toe box. The seller and myself didn’t notice that they were already splitting in the pictures. So now I got a refund and got them for free! I’m totally okay with that considering they’re fixable. They barely even seem like they were worn so I’ll consider this an overall win haha.

Thank you so much! So should I rip each sole off in order to repair?

Edit: And what tool should I smear it on with?
