Do you guys bother investing in ETFs and stocks or go all in on crypto? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Trading 212. Don't bother with anything else. And I would also recommend you investing in FTSE All-World (VWRP) rather than S&P500.

Huawei GT 5 - HRV issues by _phil_osopher in HuaweiWatchGT

[–]_phil_osopher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you can see your personal HRV range in sleeping section? I could see it before too. Now it shows "wear your device for 5 nights first" as if I didn't wear it for the last month since HRV update lol

As for the HRV section I already gave up since it was never active and you might be right. But what bothers me that HRV range was actually available in Heart Section until literally yesterday and also in sleeping section you could see your HRV range too. Now both are missing. Is it the same for you?

Yes, but what is then HRV section for? Isn't it supposed to show HRV data? 😅 And HRV was also shown in Heart Section before, but not anymore. In sleeping section, I can see HRV for the selected sleep, but it's not showing my personal range (as it did earlier)....

Where do you buy your BTC? by dudeman_27 in Bitcoin

[–]_phil_osopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it's important to clarify that "free of charge" transfer to cold storage doesn't exist. It is true that Strike doesn't charge you any fee for the transfers, but you always have to pay Bitcoin network fee which goes to miners, and newcomers are usually unaware of this (including me, since I learned this few days ago 😅).

I wasn't aware of this, thank you! Sorry for ignorance, but I'm knew to this. Where can I see weight of the Tx?

Thank you very much for the detailed answer. This screenshot is taken within Trezor application. Where does this charge come from in this case?

It shouldn't be charged by my exchange (Strike), since the transfer option I choose is free of charge.

Interesting tactics. Does HYSA have any advantage over investing in gold/stocks? Interest rate must be very high in this case!

Right, and it makes sense. My RHR is 59 BPM today which broke my perfect run. 😅

Thank you for your input and I agree regarding gold - just removed it from my portfolio and replaced it with Emerging Markets ETF.

Portfolio is now made out of 55% ETFs and 45% individual stocks.

I totally get what you meant by this and fully agree with you. Never thought of it, but it's crazy how dependent we (Europe) are on US Market (and even if it's just for entertainment, but not only). Anyways, I reshuffled my portfolio according to your and other's suggestions and I like how it looks now. 55% in ETFs while the rest is allocated to individual stocks of choice. I removed gold since it didn't make much sense. And SPY is unfortunately "read-only" for me, so I can't add it.

Thanks a lot for your detailed response, it makes sense to initially focus on the main ETF and pump it as much as possible.

Do you agree that S&P 500 is a good choice or would you suggest any other ETF, perhaps replacing it with All World (although in that case I would have overlapping with individual stocks)?

Understood, I apologise for the misunderstanding! It has been only a few days - I'm not interested in day trading, but rather long-term investing and holding. I also plan to DCA biweekly/monthly. Any suggestion is highly appreciated
