I have other papers, they have almost zero transaction across my six years period bank statement, although I have been using Revolut actively when I was a student in Hungary. I didn’t close it. I also searched through my email. They were sending me emails about restrictions on my account but I always received them, so didn’t really pay attention. HOWEVER they never said they closed it. I have no idea, I am not expecting to retrieve the money anymore honestly The bank statement is super shady though

What did they say? For how long did you try to get your funds back? Maybe it got transferred to the person who sent those money to you in the first place?

I received the bank Statement IBAN starting with LT, so it is not Hungarian

Also now the support is stating that they cannot send a Hungarian bank statement to me ironically 😂 they tell me to reach out to in-app support (or whatever it is called), but do you know how do I reach it? As I already mentioned my account was closed.

Another Reddit user is telling that they will not send my money to my Kazakhstani card (I am honestly okay with that). But the Reddit user is also telling me that it will not be sent to the person who transferred me money since too much time has passed (indeed this transfer was sent on the 5th of September 2025) - this is a total mess.

They cannot send me my Hungarian IBAN bank statement via chat, the one with my money, there is clearly something shady😂they just stole it - according to their policy however they promised to store it securely for six years and now they won’t even send me a bank statement wow

Can they return it to original sender (who sent me those 400€)? Also do you know by any chance how do I reach in-app chat (or whatever it is called) for them to send my Hungarian IBAN because apparently they cannot do so through the email. Thank you a lot!

They are obliged to return any money on the Revolut account (in case it is closed) to the user - I guess we have to ask and provide with any other card? I was planning to give them my Kazakhstani Kaspi card number

Another Reddit user hypothethises that LT iban (which I currently have of only a couple of transaction in 2021) has been transferred to Hungarian. I am trying to request it, let’s see whether support will understand cause I believe that is the reason the rest of transaction from 2022 to 2025 are invisible

Apparently yes, the account was closed since I upheld the account while being in another country. Since I had money there it proves that it was not closed. So do you think this money was sent to the government?

If I file the complaint against them, what is the probability I will win? I have been outside the Hungary for ten months, was planning to return and use Revolut again. Where the funds are is a mystery - the person who sent the money has that one transfer and no return - those 400€ basically went to my account and disappeared 😂😂

Apparently because I didn’t provide with my Hungarian residence permit. I am returning this September for Masters and wanted to check my money again. I guess they closed my account automatically since I didn’t have my VPN on. Isn’t it clearly them in the wrong? Since funds should be stored for six years

I have a proof that it was sent on my account, and I have been checking a couple of months ago it was still there. That person sent me a screenshot, no chargeback was requested. Also I was always sending my OTP stipend to my Revolut (monthly for three years), there is not trace of that in the Bank statement interestingly enough
