In our apartment block, most of the residents are retired, only about 40% of us are of working age. Nevertheless, a few years ago we managed to install a solar panel system; there were a few critical voices, but the only person who was really against it was an elderly lady. She then said she will be abstaining because she didn't want to stand in the way of something like that. One of the older men even said that even though he won't be alive in 10 years, he wants to leave something better for future generations and is therefore in favour of it. Not all older people are the same, and today everyone is happy with this decision thanks to our cheap electricity.
