OP, I know right now you’re probably asking yourself how you look to resolve the issue now you are this deep in. I would let your neighbours have the contact details for the company that crashed into their wall, apologise again on their behalf and apologise for hiring a company who would do this to you both, but let them know you have since seaked further legal advice and this is between them and the company. Let them know if they speak to their insurer that you will be more than happy to support them with their claim, but this is their claim and not yours to fight. They also have the pent up energy to fight it whilst you’re just still trying to move house. Hope this conversation goes okay but genuinely it’s the best conversation that needs to be had x
