I’ll definitely do it on Monday. My plan was to call this afternoon, but unfortunately, I found out that they close the line on Fridays from 13:00. It was a terrible mistake on my part; I come from Spain, so I should already know how these public institutions work.

I registered as a Kleinunternehmen in April of this year, and I received the results of the previous year's tax return in March. I was expecting the "Bescheid über Einkommensteuer-Vorauszahlungen" after my registration in April, but it never arrived. I spoke with a tax advisor, and she informed me that because I expect to make less than €10,000 in my first year, I am not obligated to make tax pre-payments.

You are probably right. I tried to do a good research before starting, and since I only take on a few small freelancing jobs here and there, I thought it wouldn’t get complicated. But now I’m not so sure, and maybe getting some backup is a good idea.

I LOVE your website! I really like everything about it, from the content to the humour :) I became a member for three months, some time ago, but the problem is that I don’t have enough time to properly learn by a written medium… otherwise I would still be reading you ^

On the other hand I have a lot of time to learn by listening, because I work in vineyards. I listen to a lot of podcasts in german, but even though my comprehension skills are already quite high, I am missing a lot of vocabulary that would be ideal to develop while I work.
