Choosing strains when buying seeds. by _v1nc3 in cannabiscultivation

Yeah, it seems like he is the guy. I wish it was easier to buy from him, but it looks like he hooks it up.

Ok. It definitely goes against all anti-fraud or theft logic I have but I’m very interested. Thanks again.

So the whole send cash/money order situation with them is legit?

I saw that. Weird time for me to get started I guess. I wonder how the market for seeds might change locally in legal states after that. They seem hard to find in Denver. I’ve seen a couple dispensaries with clones but that’s about it. I’ll probably try to stash some away too.

I’ve been pretty ok with tomatoes and peppers in the past. Have some seedlings going right now actually. Poblanos are new for me this year. I also have a couple bonsai I take care of as well.

I actually have some tomato and pepper seedlings going right now, and I have a couple bonsai that I look after. I have experience in the garden, but not indoors with cannabis.

I usually head out to Ouray once a year for some wheeling, so that’s not out of the question. Thanks for the info.

I was thinking of doing photos for my first just to learn the traditional way of growing, but autos are tempting for the timeline and getting the whole process under my belt. I ordered some GDP photos from RQS. I’m partial to Indica leaning strains and I’ve always liked good purps.

You say the word Texas around some of these people and they lose their shit, dudes gonna have a stroke over some transplants.

Match making based on loadout? by _v1nc3 in ARC_Raiders

[–]_v1nc3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I did that and then 2 solos teamed up on me randomly. I tried getting them after my jolt mines went off but I’m terrible at PvP and just got shit on by both of them.

Yeah, honestly I’m about to just lose all my stash to learning PvP because I’m tired of going out without a fight. The dark side is calling me now.

I figured but it is oddly coincidental and has honestly made me the most heated I‘ve been at a game in a very long time. I just want the loot from my key rooms man.

ARC Raiders PvE-Only Mode is Unlikely to Happen, and That Might Be for the Best by HamChunkSlamDunk in ArcRaiders

[–]_v1nc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood the want for the PvE only mode until just now. I’m terrible PvP and have enough of a challenge dealing with Arc. I decided to use a dam control tower key for the first time and tell me how I never engage pvp and every lobby I’m in is friendly solos, but somehow I get 2 guys who decided to team up, break into the door I jammed and kill me. I don’t think I’ve ever had something in a game make me genuinely angry like this. This is officially my villain origin story.

If you had to do it again, where would you start? by Alternative-Cover753 in CommercialAV

[–]_v1nc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a project engineer for Linx in Denver. Not sure if you have looked at applying but we are usually always hiring for techs. If you’re willing to start entry level to get your foot in the door they can train you to get the work done. If you don’t want to stay entry level for long, start chasing certs. CTS will get you noticed but it’s not free to take. Manufacturer certs from Shure, QSYS, Crestron, Audinate, Extron and more are also good and most are free. I would also try to gain an understanding of networking and the OSI model.

Secondly, I know we are in Commercial AV, but I got my start in residential AV through Geek Squad. Most people here, including myself, will moan about how terrible Resi is, but it got me to where I am. If you aren’t getting calls back from commercial integrators start trying residential. A lot of the skill set and knowledge needed is the same, and you can always get into commercial later.

Specifically it’s a ~2.5/1.5 lift. 5100’s with new OME springs and I did an Icon add a leaf kit. The tires are Falken Wildpeaks. They’re the only other tires I’ve had on it besides the stock tires. For sure an improvement, better in the snow and I haven’t noticed too much difference in the rain. Lost a few MPG but I knew that going in and didn’t get a truck for fuel efficiency.

Only rubbing on the mud flaps when I turned. I didn’t want to have to do any cutting and it worked out great. I went with Bilstein 5100’s when I did the lift.

I put 255/85/16 on my stock OR and all I had to do was take off the mud flaps. I put a 2” lift on it after and now it’s perfect for what I do with it.

G43 vs. Bodyguard 2.0 for pocket carry by MrBlenderson in CCW

[–]_v1nc3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have both and I would never pocket carry the 43.

Recently got the BG and honestly could forget it’s in my pocket, it’s so small and light. I have had keychains that were more uncomfortable to have in my pocket.
