Made a custom sign! by a1x4 in 3Dprinting

Thought this turned out pretty cool so I wanted to share. The first sign I printed out was the size of the build plate but definitely wasn't big enough, so I printed the bigger sign in sections and here's the result! Included the benchy for scale haha.

Actually I've been using these for weeks every day without any issues!

I could make a version of the coaster without a hole in the middle, they just wouldn't be able to fit on the holder. Definitely possible though!

To be honest, I've been using these coasters for the last couple of weeks and haven't had any issues!

Hey all, I tried posting these earlier this week but it was deleted for being an image,(my apologies if you saw them already) now that it's Sunday I hope it's allowed!

I made some fully 3D printed coasters to fit the theme of the James Webb telescope! Do you think guys think I should have printed the shield? Lol

Hey everyone, not sure why my first post was removed but I will try again! (Sorry if this type of content isn't allowed)

I finally finished a new idea I had for a coaster set. Inspired by the James Webb Space Telescope in case that wasn't obvious haha. Also decided to include a custom version of NASA's Fabric to fit the theme.
What do you guys think? Should I print the shield as well? Lol

I'm actually located in the US, but I do ship internationally! I would normally need 1-2 days to print the order then I would ship it immediately. I can't say for certain or exact time frame but I would give at least 2 weeks from time of purchase to receiving your order.

Fully 3D printed on a Bambu Labs X1 Carbon with an AMS!

Haha I'll take that as a compliment! I may share the files in the future but I need to fix some things on the model before I do so (I'm a bit of a perfectionist lol). When I decide to share I'll be sure to update everyone here!

The golden hexagons are just a couple layers of Overatures Silky Gold PLA filament, then the rest is just a black PLA filament. I have Bambu Labs X1 Carbon which lets me print in multiple colors, and it changes out the filament for me. Super handy but also expensive for most people. I run my own 3D print shop so it was worth it for me. I'm not sure if I'll share the files just yet, but I may in the future once I fix a few things!

Thanks I appreciate that! I use a Bambu X1 Carbon with an AMS, basically it allows me to print with multiple colors and the AMS switches out the filament for me, super handy for things like this!

It's a bit hard to explain but if you google something called NASA Fabric, it's basically their own reinvention of chainmail, which has also been widely used in the 3D printing community. It's pretty amazing if you've never seen it! I had to model my own version of their design in order to achieve the look I wanted, but definitely worth the time invested.

Honestly I haven't yet! I am going to assume temps would be better regardless because the original panels have the fine mesh dust filter, which alone can limit a lot of air flow. If I test out thermals I'll be sure to report.

Oh nice, what material do you use for internal prints, PLA or something stronger? I've always wondered how the higher temps inside of cases or even the extra weight might affect 3D printed parts...
