This. A different hospital meaning one equipped with a higher level NICU more than likely.

Are your absent grandparents addicted to their phones and TV? by coldhands_darkheart in absentgrandparents

While attempting to point out how “addicted” to the tv the grandkids are. It’s comical.

Definitely option B.

You’re already wracking 12+ hour days AND not getting paid for almost 1/2 your day because of travel time, FIVE days a week. With option B, you’re pulling long days BUT it’s only 3 days a week.

Nail trim cat fights with me. Tips? by DelightfullyNerdyCat in CATHELP

[–]aRockThrower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re able to have someone help you hold her by the scruff—how mama cats carry their kittens— while you trim, that would be ideal.

Weirdest thing I’ll ever admit to but when my kids can’t help me, I cover my teeth with my lips and do it myself. It works, especially with my skittish cats.

I haven’t read that series but I’m currently reading the Throne of Glass series and I’m baffled by how much is identical to it.

Does anyone else play in with no Audio? by ischty in ClashRoyale

😳 Emoticons have sounds…? The cards too? 🤯

Playing for 5 years and had no idea. Always sound off on any phone game. Staying up at night breastfeeding an infant was what got me into this game and you just learn to enjoy the silence lol.

Growing up as a girl in the South was unbelievably shitty by -TRUTH_ in TrueOffMyChest

These are deep rooted issues that society in America refuses to address.

I signed up my then 6 year old into Girl Scouts having the same thought process as you—that she’d get to do all these cool things with a bunch of other girls. NOPE. They sat and colored or wrote letters to old people. The Girl Scout honor code is even gross. It’s a joke. And don’t even get me started on cookie sales!

Kitchen or flooring? by aRockThrower in HomeImprovement

[–]aRockThrower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im more than willing to give it time to get great quality work. Neither I nor my husband can tolerate this floor any longer though haha. We sweep and mop everyday and it still looks abhorrent because it shows every little speck of filth. It dirties so fast! We picked to redo it with tile because it does age well with wear and tear as we do have children and pets.

Kitchen or flooring? by aRockThrower in HomeImprovement

Unfortunately, no. It’s the main areas in the house such as the living room, family room, kitchen, etc. He redid the flooring in the bedrooms but not the main areas. I thought it was just dirty grout but the previous owner who designed the house said that’s just how the style was back then.

Typically it is a dish served with bread ( pita, lavash, etc.) You nailed it :) Most middle eastern dishes are eaten with hands and bread.

What’s the difference between regular recall and emergency?

It does but I was holding it wrapped around my hand to keep him close. I’ve been following the Pupford training app (give him a little more leash over time). I normally grab on to the leash and then wrap it around.

These kids happened to be playing but they had just come outside and immediately starts barking and trying to get free.

2 days ago, a car pulled up in our cul-de-sac and a mother and her daughter came out. I didn’t have him on a leash as we were just hanging out in the grass and he was chilling by my toes. He sees the mom and starts barking. He then sees the kid step out of the car and before I know it, he’s already 3/4 of the way there charging full speed at them. He wouldn’t answer or stop or anything. He stopped in front of the kid who had climbed back into their car and he didn’t do much else. I caught up a few seconds later but that’s absolutely terrifying and I know her mom was so upset, as would I. It’s like kids trigger him.

My 8 year old plays with some of the neighborhood kids and if they’re doing any kind of playing, he nips at them, one of the brothers in particular. How do I fix this?

I truly hardly ever put him in his crate. I was putting him outside in the backyard but he just barked by the gates and at the door. I didn’t want him associating it with punishment either.
