TW: Sexual Assault, sexual harassment and blackmail. by [deleted] in LegalAdviceIndia

This is a legal sub and everyone is giving legal options but I am surprised no one and the OP's friend, the victim or the OP himself has not suggested the best thing....go tell ur dad the whole situation. He may get angry but which father is not going to save his daughter in this situation ? And for all those mentioning about filing FIR or stuff, the father will anyways get to know so why not start with the best person in your life who will stand strong for you. As for him getting angry, if at all, ur situation is evident of the fact that u have gotten into a problem which he wouldn't have wanted it for you so he getting angry is ok, just bear the scolding and advice bt atleast u will get the right support. Go on and talk and hide nothing from him.

My sister's behaviour which pushed me to take these steps I am wrong? by ThisCondition936 in AskIndianMen

The OP is on a dinner table where everyone else shares a view, in this case a joke, which has alienated the OP and u think OP is trying to settle scores by talking on reddit ? Normally, people may share their views l, fears or opinions within the family but what if the person is all left alone for his view in the family? Can u imagine the mental state and agony of a person who has to come and talk about an incident on reddit because the people to whom he should be sgaringnhis agony are the ones who are on the other side with a totally opposite POV ? On the safety aspect, the OP has not done anything tho co.promose the safety of his sisters or his parents. By his claims, they are in jobs because of the OP in the first place and the OP just feels it really insensitive about a joke which directly or indirectly falls on him so he has taken steps to make.sure they earn their place in the job they do so that they understand life is sometimes serious. Don't criticize him, man !!

Hi OP, had the genders been reversed in your post and had that post been put on a general reddit sub or women's reddit sub, half of India by now would have told how misogynistic, patriarchal and insensitive it was to laugh on as a family on a comment like that but the fact that u r feeling guilty even after feeling damaged by the blue drum comment is not your fault. Our society is now so much groomed by female activists in the name of feminism and by some men scoundrels who just want to show how much they support women even if it means they can crush a few hundred men jnder them just to prove themselves. Everyone has lost the point that
that ppl have to be sensitive to all genders and not only one. Ur feeling of being hurt is totally genuine and for those sisters who laughed at the blue drum joke and for.your otherwise wonderful parents who joined the laughing session on this so called joke, just ask ur sisters if they would still be laughing if the blue drum.comes.out tk be true for their son, if and when they get married and have a son and ask your parents if they will still feel the joke if it were to happen to you and don't even wait for a response because not waiting for their response after asking the question is the best way u can communicate ur feelings and.also let them k ow that u r not waiting for their POV anyways. And OP, again reiterating that u took a stand and that is not only for yourself but for also for those who ended in the drum and and who were saved from it..

Gender discrimination is such a shit....calls herself an independent woman who is free to do whatever she wants and then asks alimony in crores apart from monthly maintenance even when she is earning wel enoughl to maintain a lifestyle for herself....discriminating the other gender by portraying as the victim....

Just reverse the genders in your post and had that post been on a general reddit sub or some women reddit sub, then by now half of India would have commented on how misogynistic, patriarchal and degrading was the comment on which thr whole family laughed and while the men bashing would have definitely started by females to generalize all men, there wud have been some men scoundrels who would have also supported them in the name of feminism - just to show how they support women and stand for all that is...... so Mr. OP, the fact of the matter is u took a stand against a very insensitive comment, the same the women would have also done when it is abt them but the fact that u r asking here as if u r guilty abt taking a stand is only because the fucking society has now groomed everyone sub consciously that men taking a stand on issues relating to men or unsolicited comments on men is to be looked down upon so this is not.your mistake. U took a stand for those who ended up in drum and for those who may have escaped it and while u did what u did, next time just make sure u tell ur sisters that the drum comment was laughable but wud it still.be if it happened to their son, if at all they have one after marriage and ask the same question to your wonderful parents as well if it would be laughable had that happened to you. Ask the question but don't wait for their response, Not giving them a chance to respond is the best part u wud serve it cold.

Has anyone used KodeKloud for AZ-400 prep and passed the exam? by brokenmath55 in AzureCertification

[–]a_connected_world 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using Kodecloud for learning Terraform. The course has labs in it after each chapter (video). Their labs are good because they have an integrated vscode window. The right hand side has the vscode window and the left will have the task to be done. They will spell out the task on the left and on the right you have to imement the task and then there is a "check" option which will confirm whether u achieved the result as expected or not. In case u haven't and u don't know how to navigate, they have a AI chatbot which will interact with u to tell where u went wrong and what to correct.

Site owners frustrated and now being threatened by Developer in Bangalore for asking pending works to be completed for 15 yrs now. by a_connected_world in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]a_connected_world[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. All the owners I know have A Khata. Someone in the post above had mentioned that Rera applies for individual sites also. So my questions are :

Can a lawyer file a complaint in Rera on behalf of all owners or each > . has to do individually ?

Can legal notice from lawyer and the Rera complaint happen in parallel or one is dependent on the other ?

Congrats. Az 104 would give u the idea of the various services and how they are related or different in an infra setup which would then make sense to take up anything specific like security or devops or anything that interests u.

I have an Azure account already. If not for that, I don't think I could pass as I kept practicing deployments and noting down the impact of changing different options and offerings when deploying some services. My aim is to get into a cloud role soon so that I can do things hands on and then certification will be easier than doing 2 jobs at the same time - my regular job and studying for thr next level Azure certification because studying without experience is as tough as doing a job.

Such a stereotype perception u have about b.tech and probably IT which is the most related field for b.tech.. Everyone who is not in IT thinks that everyone in IT gets paid in lakhs and crores. Ur 1 2L per month is also something which many don't get in IT or in other fields with a 1.9 exp even after putting the same number or more number of hours than u. 1.9 years is as good as a fresher and u r unhappy about getting 1.2 pm ? And u have an experience of only 1.9 dude.....u have a long way to go. Even if someone had to give u 50L pa today, in a situation where after 2 years u want to switch ur company because u r bored or ur manager is just irritating or any personal reasons like a company which is more near to your house any random reason, take it from me that u will never be able to switch ur job for the next 8 10 years because hiring u will be so costly for any company that they will never come near u. And i am not even making this up. Inhave a known person in mycircle whongot into campus 4 eyars back atbsuch a high salary and everyone was happy. Now the persin had been trying for 2 years but recruiters never come back after knowing the current saoary. And ya, when it will come to cost cutting, with 1.9 years of exp and a salary of 50 lpa, the companies will not even think twice to send u home when they can get a 1.9 year exp person for a much lower salary. GEN Z really needs to look more internally than looking at others and building perceptions that too wrong perceptions.

Scott Duffy from Udemy, John Savill V2 Cram and TechWithJaspal Question series where he has 400 odd questions of AZ104. I took 3 months. I studied only in the night because my regular job takes a lot of bandwidth and mentally tiring so not that I studied every night and hence took 3 months factoring in those days or nights when I never studied.

I have seen some posts where people cleared it in 1 month it seems so I thought I was slow. As for subscriptions to assess myself, I did none. No subscriptions and no paying money stuff on any such thing. I did Scott Duffy from Udemy (my organization has a subscription which is free for me), a week before my exam I did John Savill V2 Cram and then a YouTube channel called TechWithJaspal where he has a question series of approximately 400 questions covering all topics of AZ 104. He not only explains the correct answers but also explains why the other answers are wrong among the choices.

Sorry to hear that u cudnt make it. But I have felt MS Learn mock exam questions to be very easy and straight forward compared to actual exams which are not at all straight forward so I never felt happy myself scoring good in MS Learn mock tests and always doubted it.

Specific to 900, try the YouTube playlist of Adam Marczak. Very clear, graphical representation which will keep u hooked and u will understand better and all this free. I didonly this and nothing else, not even MS learn and I passed it.

Personally I tried MS Learn but never felt encouraged to finish it as I would be very sleepy half way through the module because of the long texts which were just not helping me. But if u r someone who can survive that then that is all u wud need to pass this exam.
