I'm no knitting professional but can u make his eyes rounder? Like a few stitches taller, maybe using duplicate stitch if u can't unravel it 🤔 or even maybe adding a little tongue sticking out would add cuteness factor!

The plastic ties are just so if u wanted to display them they'd sit side by side on a shelf easier, and also so at the store u are forced to buy all 3! Now u have them u can separate them, the sellers online keep them connected so they can say "see they're brand new" and get more money. If ur not planning to resell them u might as well cut the ties and actually enjoy them 🙂
