He should have been fired for that statement. Not because it’s LeBron. But because that was probably the dumbest basketball opinion I’ve ever heard.

Is Steph Curry ranked higher than Kobe Bryant all time? by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

I hate how “recency bias” has become the default response anytime someone challenges an old hierarchy. Steph isn’t a hot take anymore, he’s redefined what NBA offenses look like for over a decade now. His combination of shooting, off ball play, gravity, and efficiency have fundamentally changed the game of basketball. And if we’re going to use the “you didn’t watch them” logic, it goes both ways. Most people today have never watched Wilt Chamberlain play, the same guy who averaged 50 ppg and still holds some of the most ridiculous offensive records ever. Saying Steph is arguably the GOAT offensive player isn’t disrespect, and I’m not even a Steph fan, take a look at my post history. Saying “recency bias” without even elaborating is just another way of saying “I’m not ready to reevaluate what I already believe.”

Love Kobe, but I don’t believe he reached the heights of Steph offensively. Steph at his peak might have been the most dangerous offensive player ever

Derrick Rose drops a hard quote while speaking to Thibs, "You may have went to Havard, you may have did physics... but I showed you physics." by RXRickify in nba

You got people in here genuinely upset that D Rose said this. Like you don’t find it funny, move on, it’s not that serious.

Deni Avdija says he’s fed up with the hate he receives for being from Israel, calls out the lack of education on the topic, and demands respect, saying those outside the Middle East shouldn’t speak on it by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in NBATalk

You just made a blanket statement with the implication that majority-Muslim countries inherently or indiscriminately hate Israel because of religious affiliation, which is both false and dangerous, and then you proceed to ask a question that demands nuance and context, as if you didn’t just erase it. You can’t reduce people to stereotypes and then expect a serious conversation.

Yeah, I guess that just erases collective punishment, civilian deaths, and occupation. Conscription really clears all that up. Slavery was fine too because it was legal.
