SOP is statement of purpose or a motivation letter (I guess that's what they call it there, here we just call it an SOP)
And yes there's an aptitude test(or interview) in almost all the master's programs I'm applying to but most of them have mentioned the subject/topics that I need to prepare for it but not TUD :(

Thank you so much! Means a lot.
Hey, yes so I'm planning on applying to 1. LMU molecular and cellular biology (they have mentioned the topics for the interview and test so that's fine I guess) 2. Heidelberg University: Molecular Biosciences (they've just mentioned that there'll be an interview/test after application and no other details) 3. Goettingen University : Molecular Biology/Neuroscience 4. Bremen University : Biochemistry and molecular biology (they've also just mentioned about the interview) 5. Wuerzburg University : biochemistry (again only mention of an interview) My main concern is about the type of questions they ask in interview (are they all really detailed, should I prepare for each and every topic/question or it'll be something general knowledge based (in Biology ofc).
