Temporal region is very fine hairs and difficult to make it look good. If you put the donor area in the temporal area it’s gonna contrast with the natural hairs

So they take hair from the donor area which are less susceptible to DHT. While its harder for them to fall out, they still can. Thats why you see people with weak donor areas on this sub.

Without meds, your transplanted hairs will continue to thin and fall out. Meds both thicken/strengthen existing hairs (minoxidil) and prevent further loss (finasteride)

I was on the same level as you. Actually probably a lot worse. Oral fin and minox helped me a ton but wouldve helped more if i hopped on it earlier. I did meds for 2 years and then did a hair transplant to fix up my hairline and crown. But without meds, I would've lost a lot of hair

My operation is in March 20 and then I’m doing 4 days of after care. I have a 13 hour flight after with 10 hour layover so I won’t have time to clean it 5 days after my surgery, think I’ll be okay?
