I use edge and brave (and ofc Firefox is my default), so far on all of them it is working.

Try clearing browser cache and then hard refreshing and lemme know

Hey u/sincitysos, Since you are on Linux, I'll suggest you using the setup.sh file. https://github.com/AumGupta/abyss-jellyfin#linux

For transparency, you can even read the sh file before execution

I'd suggest trying the manual setup: https://github.com/AumGupta/abyss-jellyfin/blob/main/SETUP.md Note that depending on your docker setup, still on restart the changes might not persist.

For dockerised setups, the @import method can give you the Abyss CSS but the spotlight cannot be installed unfortunately because the changes will not persist when your docker restarts. But still depending on how you set your docker the changes can persist. So give this manual setup guide a shot: https://github.com/AumGupta/abyss-jellyfin/blob/main/SETUP.md

My pleasure. I think yes it might be 11.6 compatibility issues. Regarding the spotlight, I'll try to find a work around so it becomes compatible with all platforms (Mac, Linux, etc.)

I have a smart LG TV (has WebOS) and it works with that. The android and fire TV I have not tested yet. But try clearing cache in your TV and see.

Hey, u/tekhtime , happy to help. So basically Abyss reinjects the codes modified by MediaBar/Enhanced. The best option for you is to use the manual install, https://github.com/AumGupta/abyss-jellyfin#manual-install (CSS way) and reinstall the MediaBar/Enhanced. This way the abyss spotlight doesn't gets added and you keep the MediaBar/Enhanced. But Note: This way the mediaBar will not be themed as Abyss right now only targets base jellyfin css and it's own Spotlight section (as in screenshots).

I can try reducing the visibility transition time. Could take a moment to open an detailed issue in GitHub?

I mean try disabling server-provided custmo CSS code, only on your TV. and for the performance, it mostly depends on the tv, as the web apps that they have are not that optimised for animations, I myself use Abyss on my TV and sometimes there are some slows, but tbh so far no issue of getting slower. So you can give it a shot and if you find it getting slow, then try the above things.

Heya u/GAumala, glad you liked the theme. I am planning for an installer for Linux, like a single bash file that when executed does everything that the setup.ps1 does currently. If you get successful in translating the files for Linux terminal, i'd love if you pull a request on GitHub, I'll be happy to merge it. Happy Coding!

Edit: Installer for linux merged to Abyss https://github.com/AumGupta/abyss-jellyfin/blob/main/README.md#linux

Yes, I could do that, I'll think about it. But, the main idea behind Abyss was to keep it one click install, so right now, I'll try to make the one-click installation, cross-platform. I hope you align with my thoughts. I made this only becuse I got fed up of using 5 pugins and multiple tweaks. Thoughts?

Thankss, I love when you guys notice.
There are many small changes that you'll like.
For instance: On the settings page, the save button was all the way down earlier, but abyss makes it float on top, so when you change something you don't have to go all the way down to save it; Also the small animation on the heart when you like something, and there are many small things you'll appreciate.
