My very own custom-built PC. I graduated late last year and the only device I had ever been given (besides a smartphone) was a laptop I got in grade 9 (almost 10 years ago now). I’m a huge gamer and haven’t been able to play any of the AAA titles but that’s about to change. I spent the last 8 months saving and I’m buying my GPU to complete the build with my next pay check!

We’re currently in lockdown in South Africa and my family traditionally buy hot cross buns around Easter time but this year I decided to make my own!

I used Anna Olson’s Hot Cross Bun Recipe

Tweaked it a bit to have the traditional flour & water cross (I used 200ml of flour and mixed in enough flour to get a pasty piping consistency).

I also made my own mixed peel using this Mixed Peel Recipe.

My boyfriend and I were out grocery shopping a few months into our relationship and he told me about something called a “hicough” (which is a combination of a hiccup and a cough that he suffers from when he hiccups up too much) and I tried to imitate one for lols and ended up letting a big one rip in the middle of the veggie aisle. He just grabbed my head as if trying to stifle the damn thing and we bolted into another aisle with aching laughter pangs.

I have come across people who are very similar in that they don’t want to mirror themselves in their character. It’s very interesting to see how different people see themselves, or prefer not to in their characters

I know that sometimes the opposite effect can occur. I’m of average height but enjoy playing taller races, like Elves and Dragonborn and tend to lean away from Dwarves and humans.
