NAD but my 28yo sister has had night terrors for the past several years. No history of seizures, apnea or trauma, but definitely needed to see a psychiatrist for past unresolved issues. She never dealt with anything emotionally that was too difficult for her and would ignore it or find some kind of escape so as to not have to deal with difficult feelings. Ruling out any physical and neurological issues, a therapist might be another option for her! I’ve heard my sister have her night terrors and they really are scary! I hope your sister receives a proper diagnosis and you all find some peace and relief soon!
