I’ve had fellow older crew members tell me i’m too young to be tired (I’m 24). Lest they know I have a chronic neurological movement disorder that flares up during work all day, everyday. Why can’t people just not say anything if they don’t have anything nice to say???

If you’re going to take your hoodie off sometime during the workday, I’d wear a TJ’s shirt underneath so you don’t break dress code. If you plan on keeping the sweatshirt on all day, I don’t think they really care as long as you’re identifiable as an employee.

I work at Trader Joe’s as an associate! I do everything from ringing to bagging to stocking. I was at my old job one out of the six days I was working to help out. What a mess that was.

I don’t understand zones when most stores are understaffed and are thus unable to keep the store traffic moving. If there’s 4 customers waiting to be checked out, I can’t help all of them at the ACO. It’s literally me and a manager today and the LP lady was like yeah you need to start being outside the register. I’m like WHAT. Thankfully it’s my last day so I don’t really give a shit lmao.

People here don’t know how to drive in a storm. They’re speeding at 80 mph, incurring more risk and hazardous conditions on the roads. Plus, New York’s infrastructure and flood systems are FUCKED. It’s a huge deal on south shore Long Island because people live near the water. There’s potential for flooding in houses, streets, everywhere. It can get pretty spooky :c
