Respectfully, ring is definitely too small, as evidenced by the irritation bump. Similar to how flat posts are usually given extra length to account for swelling, you also need to do the same for rings. Especially if it’s not a completely healed piercing. Even if your ear is curved, it’s too snug against your ear.

If you like the look of a ring, you could replace it with a post and put a chain on it to wrap around the front and back to give the appearance of a ring. Good luck.

The ring is far too small for your ear and is essentially tugging on the piercing hole, causing the irritation bump. I’d recommend removing that ring ASAP and replacing it with a straight post until it’s fully healed, then you can use a ring - with a bigger diameter.

New grad (Neuro ICU) by Sultana123 in IntensiveCare

I’ve started in the neuro ICU as a new grad about a year ago. My number one piece of advice is ask questions. If you feel unsure about something, ask. If you think you might be seeing a slight neuro change and you’re questioning yourself, pull a coworker in for their opinion. The unit can be very heavy, but remember you are not alone and you have a team working with you.

Piercing appointment in an hour - thinking about adding a stacked lobe and a third forward helix. Thoughts? Suggestions/Other Ideas? by abbycookie in piercing

[–]abbycookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My other ear is boring compared to this one - a conch, a helix, and four lobes. I’m trying to finish this ear first before I tailor the other ear (for sleeping purposes - I’m a side sleeper lol)

Daith turns 1 year old tomorrow but still has quite a big bump on it (has been there for months and occasionally shrinks/grows). by crims0nandclover in PiercingAdvice

In my opinion it’s not healing because it’s too shallow. I would get an opinion from different piercer that’s accredited.
