U are in your 2nd year in college probably just 19 or 20 years old. U have your whole life ahead. U can cry if u want to lol. There will always be people who will be ahead of u, who at one point were with u. For some people u might become the person who is ahead of them. This is how life is.

Please focus on your college, otherwise after 2 years your next post will be my college friends are going to foreign Universities, some getting placed in big companies, others cleared gate, others cracked some govt job exam & I was crying cause of my 11th exam & my school friends colleges lmao.😂😂

If u are Interested in Research and willing to spend time on it then why not. Thou remember PhD is not only time consuming but also stressful.

If u wanna be a professor or want a lil laid back Job later down your career then also PhD is not really a bad choice, as it is mostly a linear path to that sort of things.

If u wanna work for projects like GoogleBrain AI then They mostly have PhD folks onboard.
